Pride is an excellent choice for families not just for its college preparatory focus, but also because:

- Pride College Prep is absolutely free and open to all students residing in Orleans Parish.
- Pride College Prep will provide free transportation to and from school.
- Teachers are available to students and families by cell phone.
- The school day goes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with options for 7 a.m. drop off and 6 p.m. pick-up.
- Students attend school year-round, with two shorter breaks during the summer.
- Families have the opportunity to participate on a parent involvement committee.
- In addition to teacher and Principal communication, a Dean for Students and Families is dedicated to working closely with parents to guide student success.
- Families will have multiple opportunities to participate in students' learning, including family reading nights and frequent conferences with teachers.
